Sony enticed retailers to its recent Destination PlayStation event with the promise of 'something special' and rigorous Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs). It has, however, emerged that PlayStation 3 was not shown to attendees, with many retailers (anonymously) expressing their - sometimes bitter - disappointment.
GameSpot speculates as to what exactly Sony's Phil Harrison will bring with him for his keynote address at this year's Game Developers' Conference, which is entitled 'PlayStation 3: Beyond the Box'.
Joystiq goes further, suggesting the no-show gives a stronger indication that the PlayStation 3 release schedule has in fact slipped.
And SPOnG has word from one attendee who was completely at a loss when no PlayStation 3 footage was shown at any time during the event.
